Nova Luna Gymnastic

Welcome to Nova Luna Gymnastics! We are a dedicated group of coaches, athletes and parents who are passionate about the sport of Rhythmic and Aesthetic Group Gymnastics, and Acrobatic Gymnastics. Our primary focus is on raising well-rounded athletes who not only excel in their gymnastics skills but also develop important life skills.

At our club, we believe in providing a nurturing and supportive environment where athletes can thrive. We understand that each athlete is unique and has different goals and aspirations. Therefore, we tailor our training programs to meet the individual needs of our athletes, ensuring that they receive the attention and guidance necessary to reach their full potential.

Nova Luna Gymnastics is not just about training and competition; it is also a community. We foster a sense of camaraderie and teamwork among our athletes, encouraging them to support and motivate each other. We organize team-building activities, social events, and community service projects to strengthen the bonds within our club

Recreational Programs (3-13 years)

Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (8-14 years)
AGG emphasizes artistic interpretation, teamwork, and creativity, setting it apart from other gymnastics disciplines

Acrobatic Gymnastics (7-13 years)
Our Acrobatic Class is a dynamic and engaging program designed to introduce your child to the exciting world of acrobatics. This class focuses on developing flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, timing, body awareness, self-discipline, and confidence.

Private Stretching Class
Join us for a private stretching class! This is a unique opportunity to improve your flexibility, reduce muscle tension, and enhance your overall physical performance. Our experienced instructor will guide you through a series of stretches tailored to your individual needs and fitness level.

  • Katya Kuznetsova
    Co-Owner / Gymnastics Mom
    Katya Kuznetsova is a dedicated and passionate individual who wears multiple hats as the owner of a renowned gymnastics facility Nova Luna Gymnastics, Family Learning Center OctoClub, and the proud mother of Rhythmic and AGG Gymnasts.

    As the owner of Nova Luna Gymnastics, Katya has poured her heart and soul into creating a space where gymnasts of all ages and skill levels can thrive.
    As a mother, she understands the unique challenges and joys that come with raising a gymnast.

    Katya’s values are giving the best possible tools to little kids and their families for a happy successful life.
  • James McDevitt
    Co-Owner / Gymnastics Father
    James McDevitt is not just a co-owner of Nova Luna Gymnastics; he is a passionate advocate for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics and a dedicated father to gymnasts. With a background in engineering, James brings a unique blend of analytical thinking and creativity to the club. His journey into the world of gymnastics began with a simple desire: to provide his daughters and other talented athletes with a nurturing and well-equipped environment where they could pursue their passion.
    His commitment to excellence ensures that every aspect of the club, from training programs to facility management, reflects the highest standards.
    As a proud father of rhythmic gymnasts, James understands the importance of fostering a supportive community for athletes, their families, and coaches.
  • Natalia Shcherbak
    Head coach, level 5-10
    Coach Natalia Shcherbak has successfully led gymnastic teams in Kharkiv, Kremechuk, and Dubai, and now in San Diego.
    Natalia began her training in rhythmic gymnastics at a young age and went on to earn Bronze as a Champion of Europe, and multiple championships of Ukraine. She earned her Master of Sports in Rhythmic Gymnastics, and graduated from Kharkiv State University of Physical Education, in major of Sport Olympic and Professional Sport.
    Miss Shcherbak has made numerous European and Ukrainian Champions.
  • Polina Ivoilova
    Coach Level 3-4, Rhythmic Twinklers, Petit Stars, Flexi Fun
    Coach Polina have made a remarkable impact in the rhythmic gymnastics community, achieving outstanding results as a competitor. She is the WINNER of the OFSOO Rus Cup and the Moscow Region Championship, as well as a Silver medalist at the 2nd stage of the 9th Summer Spartakiad of Students of Russia, representing the Moscow Region team. Polina also reached the finals at the Championship of the Central Federal District and proudly earned the title of Candidate for Master of Sports.
    Coach Polina trains Level 3-4 athletes and nurtures the youngest gymnasts aged 3-8 years old. Her gentle approach and professionalism inspire young ladies to develop a passion for the sport and strive for excellence.

  • Alina Oleynik
    Coach Pre-team, AGG, Graceful Gems, Acrobatics
    With a Master of Sports in Sports Acrobatics and certification as a specialist in gymnastics, Alina brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.
    She is also a certified personal and group fitness trainer, specializing in fitness and therapeutic physical culture.
    With 13 years of experience working with children in various institutions and sports, Alina is dedicated to helping young athletes develop their skills and reach their full potential.
